Brief Academic Achievements :

Dr. Meena Kumari is an Associate Professor in the Department of Biosciences, Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla. She holds an M.Sc., B.Ed., M.Phil. in Zoology, and a Ph.D. awarded in 2007. With over 15 years of experience in teaching and research, she teaches Cytogenetics and Molecular Genetics at the postgraduate level.

Her research interests include insect biology, insect pest management, and insect cytogenetics. She has published more than 25 research papers in reputed journals and contributed chapters to edited books. She is a life member of professional scientific societies and is involved in academic publishing, research supervision, and the popularisation of science.
